We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Global Procurement Catalogue and Category Officer to join our global procurement team. This critical role focuses on aligning procurement categories with organizational spend, ensuring they are properly implemented and regularly updated. The successful candidate will also manage the Center of Excellence (CoE) to promote best practices and continuous improvement across procurement functions. Additionally, this role will lead efforts to digitize procurement services, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the alignment of procurement categories with actual spend data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Implement and maintain procurement categories, updating them as necessary to reflect changes in the market or organizational needs.
  • Manage the Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive procurement best practices, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the digitization of procurement services, identifying opportunities to leverage technology for process optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to ensure procurement strategies support overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Support category managers and procurement stakeholders by providing expertise and guidance on catalogue management.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge sharing within the procurement team to enhance capabilities and adoption of best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in global procurement, with a strong focus on catalogue and category management.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop procurement categories aligned with spend analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Centers of Excellence or similar initiatives focused on process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement digitization tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is typically required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
