Job Role: Mechanical Equipment Technician

The primary objective of the Mechanical Equipment Technician is to ensure that all mechanical installations and piping services are functioning optimally.

This involves:

  • Maintenance and repair of Mechanical equipment installation and services to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.
  • Executing scheduled maintenance activities on all Mechanical equipment/services in accordance with established procedures to minimize downtime and increase efficiency.
  • Recording relevant information on job activities to maintain a comprehensive history and other related data in the facilities and equipment management system.
  • Inspecting and monitoring assigned equipment/services to identify potential issues and meet user requirements.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and dress code at work.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a secondary school certificate, preferably accompanied by a certificate in Plumbing. A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant work experience and technical knowledge about Air compressors, Pumps, Medical Air and Vacuum, Electro-Mechanical, Pneumatic, and other equipment are also required. Additionally, the candidate should be able to read and understand Piping and Instrumentation diagrams independently and have basic English and Urdu language skills.
