School Guidance Role

Our organization is seeking a qualified School Guidance Professional to support the mental health and well-being of students in our partner schools.

  • Counseling Sessions: Provide individualized counseling, conduct group therapy sessions, and address common issues to foster peer support.
  • Emergency Support: Offer timely intervention during emergencies, handle grief counseling, and assist students with personal challenges.
  • Academic Support: Collaborate with teachers to identify academic difficulties, develop intervention strategies, and provide guidance on study skills and time management techniques.
  • Workshops and Training: Organize workshops on stress management, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence for students and staff.
  • Behavioral Analysis and Intervention: Monitor and assess student behaviors, develop behavior modification plans, and collaborate with teachers and parents as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential counseling records for each student.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of various counseling techniques, emergency response, and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and non-judgmental demeanor.
