Quality Assurance Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to oversee software quality, task tracking in Jira, and repository coordination in Bitbucket. This role ensures all projects meet high-quality standards, team workflows are optimized, and reporting is streamlined.

  1. Job Summary:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for web, mobile, and backend projects.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure defect-free products.
  • Log, track, and retest bugs; maintain accurate test documentation.
Jira Administration:
  • Manage task boards and workflows across departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Assign and prioritize tasks based on sprint plans, ensuring timely completion.
  • Track team progress and generate weekly status reports to stakeholders.
Bitbucket Management:
  • Ensure secure repository access and user permissions, maintaining data integrity.
  • Enforce branch, commit, and pull request workflows to optimize code management.
  • Collaborate with developers to manage code revisions and ensure efficient development processes.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Provide structured progress and performance updates to senior management.
  • Work closely with the CTO to maintain development standards and implement process improvements.
  • Collect weekly task plans from employees and submit a consolidated plan to senior management each Monday.
  • Prepare and submit end-of-week reports detailing task completion by each employee.

Requirements:

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational, reporting, and follow-up skills.
  • Technical Expertise: 2–4 years of experience in Product Management and/or QA roles (preferably both).
  • Methodologies and Tools: Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and experience with QA tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Postman, Selenium).
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for Quality: A passion for building great products and ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle.
