We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Job DescriptionQuality Assurance EngineerThe Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for defining, developing, and implementing quality assurance practices and procedures. They collaborate with development teams during all stages of projects to provide in-process testing results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases
- Perform daily acceptance tests to ensure high-quality results
- Conduct exploratory testing within an agile environment to identify potential issues
- Execute end-to-end tests for larger releases to guarantee seamless user experiences
- Drive the test strategy and efforts, focusing on automation and coaching others to improve testing efficiency
- Own the process during test periods to ensure timely completion
- Participate in grooming and planning to ensure acceptance criteria are testable and measurable
- Collaborate with designers, SMEs, and Product Owner while user stories are developed to ensure alignment
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and support engineers to identify priorities and resolve issues efficiently
- Experience with writing and automating test cases using industry-standard tools
- QA work across Ecommerce platforms and mobile applications with a strong focus on test case management
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of productivity
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, Golang, Node JS, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of API automation tools like RESTAssured, Pytest, UniRest, and their applications in testing
- Understanding of performance and load testing tools like Locust, Gatling, K6, and their benefits in improving system performance
- Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure pipeline, Bitrise, and their integration with testing processes
- Solid knowledge of web and app-based testing and architecture, including security considerations
- Awareness of load testing and security testing concepts, and their importance in software development
- Basic understanding of Linux, shell scripting, and databases, and their relevance to testing environments
- Alignment with agile best practices and their application in testing and development cycles
- Familiarity with infrastructure in AWS, GCP, AZURE, and their use in testing and deployment environments
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of quality assurance and testing processes in Agile environments
- Deep knowledge of testing concepts, processes, and activities, including manual and automated testing
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, analytical, and documentation skills, with attention to detail
- Strong team player able to participate in Release deployments to production, ensuring smooth delivery
- Passion for delivering high-quality features and end-to-end scenarios, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Design, Management Information Systems Engineering, or related field and/or relevant job experience
- 3-5 years of experience in QA of ECOM/Magento/Salesforce, with a strong focus on test case management and automation
