Accounts Payable Professional Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at 360training. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable, handling vendor invoice coding and approval workflows, establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors, ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner, processing manual check requests and wires, investigating and resolving problems with vendor invoicing, and assisting with month end close.

About the Role:

  • Manage accounts payable using NetSuite and Bill.com
  • Handle all vendor invoice coding and approval workflows
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Ensure bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner
  • Process manual check requests and wires
  • Investigate and resolve problems with vendor invoicing
  • Manage returned payments and work to collect update information from vendors
  • Assist in the 1099 process - collect W-9's, ensure name on W-9 matches IRS, ensure coding is correct
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable role
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
  • Competency with productivity systems, such as NetSuite, Bill.com, Excel
  • Basic data entry skills
  • Comfortable with math and calculations
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
