Job Title: Financial Professional

We are seeking a skilled financial professional to join our team and help us identify eligible R&D activities and expenses, and prepare claims for R&D tax credits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment, and will be able to provide expert advice to clients on how to maximize their benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with us to identify eligible R&D activities and expenses, and prepare claims for R&D tax credits
  • Provide advice and guidance on investment opportunities available in the world, and help us make informed investment decisions
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, VAT returns, and other financials
  • Conduct audits and reviews of financial records to ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment, and advise clients accordingly
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive financial advice and support
Job Specification

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • ACCA, ACA, or other relevant professional qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on R&D tax credits and investment
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment
  • Experience working with clients in a professional services firm or accounting firm
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
