JOB SUMMARY:

The GBV Caseworker is responsible for providing direct support to vulnerable women and girls and survivors of GBV, ensuring a safe and survivor-centered environment.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities
Service Provision
  1. Assess the needs of survivors of GBV and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  2. Coordinate closely with the Casework Supervisor and seek support when required.
  3. Provide information on available services and facilitate access to these services through referral, accompaniment, and service coordination.
  4. Distribute emergency cash and material assistance based on individual needs assessments.
  5. Participate in regular case review meetings and coaching sessions.
Monitoring and Reporting
  1. Seek feedback from clients and adapt services accordingly.
  2. Support post-distribution monitoring and data collection efforts.
  3. Carefully document service provision and maintain accurate case files.
  4. Adhere to strict data protection protocols to protect client confidentiality and safety.
Coordination, Advocacy and Representation
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including community leaders and humanitarian partners.
  2. Coordinate with other service providers to strengthen access to services and promote integration.
  3. Represent program goals and standards, promoting gender equality and respect for affected populations.
Security and Conduct
  1. Ensure compliance with established security protocols and policies.
  2. Foster a safe working environment for all staff and partners.
  3. Exemplify core principles of GBV programming, including non-discrimination, responsible use of power, and promotion of gender equality.
