Job Title: Quality and Environmental Sustainability Director

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality and Environmental Sustainability Director to join our organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, policies, and procedures related to quality and environmental sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and maintaining a quality and environmental management system, driving continual improvement, and supporting the organization with strategy deployment and KPI leadership management.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures related to Quality and Environmental Sustainability.
  • Implement and maintain a quality and environmental management system including an operating rhythm.
  • Drive continual improvement by recommending actions or policies that result in cost reduction, efficiencies, or increased profitability.
  • Support the organization with strategy deployment and KPI leadership management.
  • Be a technical resource to guide site management in their responsibilities for Quality and Environmental Sustainability.
  • Implement and maintain programs for protection of employees and regulatory compliance regarding chemical hazards, audits, waste disposal, and other safety and environmental aspects.
  • Manage near miss, incident, and accident reports to ensure that root cause is determined and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Work as part of the Quality and Environmental Sustainability leadership team to develop and deploy global policies and programs.

  • Able to work independently and self-starter.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and develop processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with others, including senior and middle management levels.
  • Ability to work in a high-matrixed organization: to synthesize various inputs and concerns, negotiate, and find paths forward that lead to results.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 4001 standards.
