Job Title

The Head of Asset Management oversees the entire lifecycle of all company assets, ensuring optimal utilization, loss prevention, and recovery.

This role entails maintaining a centralized asset register, overseeing issuance and return processes, implementing an ERP-based tracking system, and enforcing standard operating procedures for asset movement and disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and regularly update the asset register across all offices, branches, and departments nationwide.
  • Oversee the issuance and return process for company assets, ensuring proper documentation and approval workflows.
  • Implement and monitor an ERP-based tracking system to record asset location, ownership, condition, and movement.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs for asset movement, transfers, repairs, disposals, and replacements.
  • Ensure physical verification and audits are periodically conducted across all regions and discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
  • Lead the asset recovery process from staff (on exit) or clients (on contract termination) and ensure timely retrieval or financial recovery.
  • Coordinate with the Finance, HR, Administration, and Procurement departments to maintain alignment of asset data and compliance.
  • Maintain complete asset lifecycle history, including depreciation schedules, warranty statuses, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a structured organization with demonstrable experience in ERP-based asset management.
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, recovery protocols, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.
