
Senior Project Manager Role

The ideal candidate will be accountable for the overall success of projects. Key responsibilities include forming a team of skilled professionals, identifying and engaging necessary resources to support the project team, developing and maintaining a project plan aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), lodging the project plan with the Program Office for review and approval, establishing contracting arrangements with potential vendors to secure necessary services, preparing a Delivery Model outlining key project components and timelines, conducting regular team meetings to ensure progress and address concerns, facilitating the preparation of the Business Requirements Specification (BRS) document, managing the Change Management process associated with the project to minimize disruptions, assisting in the preparation of the Solution Brief highlighting key project features and benefits, developing an Implementation plan to guide project execution, overseeing project activities to meet schedule and cost targets, including estimating time and resources required to complete tasks, collaborating with the Program Management Office (PMO) to engage internal and external suppliers of development resources, ensuring build activities are properly managed to prevent delays or setbacks, verifying that testing is thorough and issues or defects are addressed promptly, guiding the project through the Project/Operational Readiness Review (PORR) to ensure readiness for deployment, achieving delivery dates as outlined in the project plan, and overseeing the deployment of technical, process, organizational, and support elements of the solution.
- Develop a team of experts to deliver project objectives.
- Identify and mobilize necessary resources to support the project team.
- Create and maintain a project plan aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Submit the project plan to the Program Office for review and approval.
- Establish contractual agreements with potential vendors to secure necessary services.
- Prepare a delivery model outlining key project components and timelines.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure progress and address concerns.
