Oracle Fusion Financial Consultant Role

Description:

The organization seeks a seasoned Oracle Fusion Functional Financial Consultant to oversee the implementation and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion Financials modules across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in implementing and supporting financial management systems, as well as strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and provide ongoing support for Oracle Fusion Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expense Management, Intercompany Accounting).
  • Conduct thorough business analysis, identifying problems, opportunities, and solutions for finance functions, and document these findings in business requirement documents.
  • Collect and analyze business requirements for Fusion Financials Implementation projects, working closely with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive business requirement documents and other functional and technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout the process.
  • Collaborate in the design, development, testing, and implementation of the fusion solution, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Integrate Oracle Fusion Financials with third-party applications, such as banking systems and procurement systems, to optimize financial performance.
  • Identify functional gaps and implement corrective actions to ensure project deliverables meet customer specifications.
  • Provide expert-level technical assistance in building financial reports, dashboards, and analytics, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Respond promptly to stakeholder queries and concerns, resolving technical and operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the documentation team to develop user guides and training materials, facilitating smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that positively impact the finance function, leveraging expertise to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Assist in data cleansing, transformation, and data mapping activities during the migration phase of projects, ensuring seamless transition to new systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent education.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in business/information analysis, focusing on Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Minimum of 2-3 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Implementation experiences.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle SAAS & PAAS applications, with expertise in integrations and data mappings.
  • Oracle Fusion Financials Certification is desirable.
  • Proven working experience as a Financials Business Analyst, proficient in Oracle Fusion Financials modules and spreadsheets.
  • Experience working within a project-centric industry, such as construction, is beneficial.
  • Knowledge in Oracle Data Migration.
