Senior Tax Specialist: Estate Planning

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team at a leading tax firm. As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will play a critical part in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing fiduciary income tax returns for administrative trusts and estates.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a book of business and supervise the production of tax return preparation by Associate tax preparers.
  • Utilize advanced technologies for client service delivery and ensure seamless communication with taxing authorities.
  • Stay up-to-date on tax technical developments and maintain accurate data for all accounts.

Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of recent public accounting experience or equivalent working with income tax returns for administrative trusts and estates.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in business, accounting, finance, taxation, mathematics, economics, information technology, data and analytics, engineering (financial, industrial or systems), or related fields.
  • State-specific education requirements for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) licensure.
  • Experience using advanced technologies and knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code as it relates to trusts and estates.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
