Junior Project Manager Job Description

Daily project coordination with clients and a technical team of 20+ web developers is required. Project status meetings are held to resolve roadblocks, ensuring projects stay on schedule, meet quality requirements, and expenses remain within approved budgets.

We're looking for someone who can suggest efficient methods for utilizing development teams and resources to increase productivity, reduce development cycles, and enable project completion ahead of schedule.

The ideal candidate will help development teams and management determine current and future team expansion requirements and coordinate recruitment efforts.

Multiple simultaneous small-scale web development projects (typically 1 to 6 months long) need to be coordinated by the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily project communication with utmost clarity.
  • Provide ongoing project status updates.
  • Coordinate task assignments.
  • Resolve roadblocks.
  • Get feedback from clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 01 year of experience as a project coordinator interacting with both web development teams and clients.
  • Experience with software development life cycle product specification, design, implementation, QA, and release.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
Desired Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with web development in ASP.NET or PHP.
  • Similar experience working for a Software Outsourcing Services company serving US clients.
