Your Role

You'll collaborate closely with other engineers on our team to develop highly efficient and robust backend applications and services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing high-quality, performant, and reliable code while working on defined tasks/bugs independently.
  • Understanding functional specifications and delivering complete features.
  • Participating in the on-call rotation and contributing to resolving any incidents within our defined SLA.
  • Collaborating with the team to evolve agile engineering practices continuously.

Core Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Working experience with modern object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Golang, Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of fundamental computer science concepts including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience operating online systems reliably and deploying changes to production.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

We're seeking candidates with:

  • Experience with Java Spring, Golang, and cloud platforms like Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS.
  • Proficiency with container technology including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational database systems.
  • Application of professional software engineering best practices.
