Inventory Optimization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Optimization Expert to join our team. As an expert in inventory management, you will be responsible for designing and implementing predictive models to optimize inventory placement, demand forecasting, and pricing optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory management strategies with business goals.
  • Design and implement data-driven decision-making processes to inform inventory replenishment and distribution strategies.

Requirements:

  • Masters or PhD in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • 10+ years of experience in data science with a strong focus on inventory optimization.
  • Deep understanding of stochastic modeling, forecasting, and optimization techniques.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and one or more optimization libraries (e.g., Gurobi, Pyomo).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in retail or e-commerce supply chains.
  • Familiarity with WMS and/or network optimization tools.
