Local Search Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Local Search Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and experience in developing and implementing local SEO strategies.

  • Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing tailored local SEO strategies to enhance the online visibility of small and medium businesses (SMBs). This includes managing Google My Business (GMB) and Apple Maps listings, creating and posting high-quality content, and building relationships with clients to understand their unique needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement local SEO strategies to improve SMB visibility on GMB and Apple Maps.
  • Manage and optimize GMB Organization accounts.
  • Create and publish engaging content on GMB listings to drive user engagement and boost visibility.
  • Optimize Apple Maps listings to improve search rankings and visibility.
  • Add and manage business citations across various platforms to enhance local search visibility.
  • Maintain accurate Name, Address, Phone (NAP) information across all listings.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and platform updates to inform strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in local SEO, specifically managing GMB and Apple Maps listings.
  • Proven ability to create and manage high-quality content for GMB listings.
  • Experience in adding and managing business citations across various platforms.
  • Strong understanding of NAP consistency and its impact on local search rankings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
