Job Description:
">As a Shipping Industry Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion in the shipping and freight forwarding sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand customer base.
Key Responsibilities:">- Business Development and Growth:">
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and increase market share.">
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand customer base.">
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and negotiate contracts to deliver mutual value.">
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.">
- Client Relationships and Communication:">
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.">
- Act as primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely service delivery.">
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.">
- Team Leadership and Performance:">
- Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals and providing training to improve performance.">
- Monitor team performance and provide regular updates to senior management.">
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions to optimize sales processes.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.">
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales within the shipping and freight forwarding industry.">
- Demonstrated success in business development and client management.">
- Experience in managing sales teams and working in cross-functional environments.">
- Strong knowledge of the shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics industry.">
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.">
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.">
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.">
