Our client, a leading textile firm, seeks an experienced senior product manager to lead their denim division. The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and 4-5 years of experience in the denim textiles industry.

About the Role
  1. We are looking for a skilled professional to manage our denim division and drive business growth.
  2. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with the pre-production team, ensuring timely material arrival, and monitoring production processes.
  3. We require someone who can provide exceptional customer service, ensure quality standards are met, and develop a booking pipeline for profitable product development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the pre-production team to coordinate activities on committed dates.
  2. Place fabric and trim orders well in advance based on project timelines to ensure timely material arrival.
  3. Issue order acceptance forms and performa invoices for letter of credit establishment upon confirmed orders.
  4. Monitor materials and production for on-time delivery.
  5. Conduct quality checks at various production levels to maintain client-specified quality standards.
  6. Ensure zero waste of materials/resources.
  7. Provide post-production support and service to clients.
  8. Support marketing efforts by completing assigned tasks.
  9. Maintain open communication with customers to prevent complaints.
  10. Ensure that all outgoing samples meet required quality standards.
  11. Keep assigned customers informed about sampling and production timelines.
  12. Develop and manage a booking pipeline for assigned customer(s) filled with profitable product development opportunities.
Requirements
