Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with expertise in eCommerce platforms to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of technical architecture and business processes, as well as the ability to analyze, map, and optimize eCommerce systems for improved user experience, system efficiency, and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with various eCommerce platforms, including Shopify, WordPress, Magento, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce. They will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses of platform infrastructures to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and enhanced performance.

This role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into detailed specifications. The successful candidate will be able to create documents such as BRD, FRD, TRD, System Architecture Diagrams, and Integration/Interface Specifications for effective communication and successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Analysis & eCommerce Platforms: Conduct detailed analyses of eCommerce platform infrastructures to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and enhanced performance.
  2. Technical Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into detailed specifications.
  3. System Mapping & Architecture: Develop and update system architecture diagrams and technical documentation to map the eCommerce ecosystem, including integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, APIs, and third-party tools.
  4. Integration and API Management: Analyze and evaluate API integrations with third-party systems (CRM, ERP, PIM) to ensure optimal data flow, synchronization, and performance.
  5. Technical Customer Journey Optimization: Work with development and UX teams to analyze customer journeys from a technical perspective, identifying areas for improving user experience through technical performance enhancements, load time reduction, and mobile responsiveness.
  6. Security & Compliance: Ensure all technical aspects of the platform meet security, compliance, and data privacy standards.
