The ideal candidate will analyze, map, and optimize the technical side of eCommerce systems while driving business outcomes such as improved user experience, system efficiency, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Analysis & eCommerce Platforms
    • Conduct a detailed analysis of the technical infrastructure of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WordPress, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce) to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and improved performance.
  • Technical Requirement Gathering
    • Collaborate with stakeholders (developers, system architects, product owners) to gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into detailed specifications.
    • Create key documents such as the Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), Technical Requirements Document (TRD), System Architecture Diagrams, and Integration/Interface Specifications.
  • System Mapping & Architecture
    • Create and update system architecture diagrams and technical documentation to map out the eCommerce ecosystem.
    • Including integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, APIs, and third-party tools.
  • Integration and API Management
    • Analyze and evaluate API integrations between various platforms and third-party systems (CRM, ERP, PIM).
    • Ensure data flow, synchronization, and performance are optimized.
  • Technical Customer Journey Optimization
    • Work closely with development and UX teams to analyze customer journeys from a technical perspective.
    • Identify areas where the user experience can be improved by optimizing technical performance, reducing load times, or enhancing mobile responsiveness.
  • Security & Compliance
    • Ensure all technical aspects of the eCommerce platform meet security, compliance, and data privacy standards.
Qualifications:

6+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on eCommerce projects.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, technical environment.
