About the QA Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. As part of our local sales department, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and meet customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software quality assurance, strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents for timely and meaningful feedback
  • Creating detailed test plans and test cases
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities
  • Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs
  • Performing regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products
  • Liaising with internal teams to identify system requirements
  • Monitoring debugging process results
  • Investigating non-conforming software causes and training users to implement solutions

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with performance and security testing is a plus
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
