Business Development Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and tracking sales opportunities, working closely with the marketing team and other members of the sales team.

  • You will make outbound calls to qualify marketing leads and proactively generate leads and opportunities through cold calling and prospect follow-up.
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Business Development Specialist will include:

  1. Managing the sales pipeline, ensuring a smooth sales process.
  2. Creating and maintaining accurate client records to ensure a clear history of client contact is available.
  3. Researching and identifying potential sales partners for our company.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales prospecting (cold calling and email marketing) in the B2B industry.
  • A strong American English accent to effectively communicate with prospects and marketing leads in the US and Europe.
  • Multilingual skills, preferably German or French.
  • A degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • The ability to prepare in advance for new possibilities and take initiative.
  • Strong analytical and organizing skills, proficient in using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • The ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, coping effectively with complexity and change.

Nice to have: Experience in Pharma and IT related products.
