We are seeking an exceptional Senior Technical Sales Engineer to develop innovative solutions and collaborate with a dynamic team on complex projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for research, and experience in proposal development, industrial automation, or related industries.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to hone your technical skills on cutting-edge projects and contribute to a leading system integrator with over 30 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technically compliant and cost-effective proposals for the Middle East regions.
- Leverage experience in automation and high-level SCADA systems to integrate subcontractors and systems.
- Exhibit a strong commercial presence to influence key stakeholders and manage international teams.
- Improve sales team effectiveness by supporting technical teams and developing integrated systems and tools.
- Align the team with internal stakeholders and ensure task completion within agreed timelines.
- Strategize during the pre-sales cycle to mitigate risks and minimize project impact.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures relating to business conduct and meet OEM ethical & legal standards.
- Execute international bids and proposals while minimizing risk.
- Propose Turn-Key solutions (Industrial Automation).
- Collaborate with global OEMs to track Capex programs and guarantee user specifications.
- Lead detailed Capex/Sales plans related to automation solutions and services.
- Analyze key accounts, develop penetration strategies, and execute tactics to increase market share.
- Diagnose, document, and solve customer problems with seamless solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering.
- 4-6 years of Proposal Development Experience, Industrial Automation, power control, or related industry experience.
- Estimation background in any Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process control entity.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
- Proven experience in customer interaction.
- Strong business writing and communications skills.
- Possess high commercial awareness.
- Desire to provide high support and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships tactfully and efficiently.
