Pharmaceutical Industry Growth Specialist

The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion within the pharmaceutical sector. This dynamic professional will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with multinational pharmaceutical companies, as well as onboarding new partners and maintaining long-term collaborations.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategies to enhance sourcing and selling capabilities, building industry networks, tracking competitor activities, and identifying new business opportunities. Additionally, this role requires close collaboration with finance to negotiate contract terms and pricing, coordinating supply chain logistics, and working with compliance teams to ensure regulatory approvals.
To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. They must also be able to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously, including sourcing and sales. Furthermore, they should have a strong background in business development, preferably with experience in pharmaceutical sourcing and institutional sales.
- Develop and execute business expansion strategies;
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with multinational pharmaceutical companies;
- Onboard new partners by negotiating agreements and terms;
- Monitor market trends to identify potential partners;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Manage multiple pipelines, including sourcing and sales;
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences (MBA preferred);
- 4–6 years' experience in pharmaceutical business development, sourcing, or institutional sales;
- Strong network within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
