Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in pharmaceutical business development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering quality software and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Sourcing: Identify and establish relationships with multinational pharmaceutical companies, onboard new partners by negotiating agreements and terms, maintain long-term partnerships, and monitor market trends to target partners.
  • Sales: Register Shelf Pharma as a vendor with hospitals, institutions, and large distributors in Karachi, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, develop sales opportunities, and create tailored proposals and presentations.
  • Business Growth & Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to expand sourcing and selling capabilities, build industry networks, track competitor activities, and identify new opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with finance teams on contract terms and pricing, coordinate with supply chain/logistics for smooth operations, collaborate with compliance/regulatory teams for approvals and legal requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences (MBA preferred).
  • 4–6 years' experience in pharmaceutical business development, sourcing, or institutional sales.
  • Strong network within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector in Karachi.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage both sourcing and sales pipelines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of compliance and vendor registration processes with healthcare institutions.
