Job Title: Business Proposal Specialist

This role demands a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to research, draft, edit, and submit high-quality business proposals and bids in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong grasp of business writing, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities
  • Develop proposal outlines and manage timelines in collaboration with Proposal Managers
  • Write, edit, and compile proposal content, including executive summaries, resumes, and project descriptions
  • Maintain quality using templates and consistent proposal-writing standards
  • Organize and update all related proposal documentation
  • Track and maintain a log of submitted bids and their outcomes
  • Continuously refine and improve proposal processes, templates, and content libraries
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English language & Literature or related field
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in business proposal writing or bidding
  • 2-5 years of experience with government proposals and/or technical proposals is a plus
  • Prior experience bidding on freelance marketplaces is desirable
  • Exceptional written communication, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong research abilities and understanding of RFP sourcing and evaluation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and work independently under pressure
