Job Description
  • Provide technical support to site operations, optimizing manufacturing processes to reduce production costs, scrap, and setup times.
  • Focus on initiatives that improve productivity, support quality enhancements, and increase throughput and efficiency.
  • Solve process issues related to equipment and product performance.
  • Support safety initiatives, programs, and daily safety requirements.
  • Assist Marketing and Product Development teams during new product communications.
  • Lead cost-out initiatives on specific products to lower costs while maintaining quality, thereby improving margins.
  • Conduct process and equipment evaluations and develop operating parameters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with reputable vendors and drive facility-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct process optimization DOE's to increase line speeds, decrease changeover times, and improve yields.
  • Provide leadership to production teams to foster a motivating environment that meets or exceeds goals related to safety, service, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with technical and support teams to resolve problems and develop improved manufacturing and support processes using lean sigma tools.
  • Participate in investigations and implement corrective action plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical analysis skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
