We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our nursing unit in delivering exceptional patient care and managing administrative tasks. This individual will be responsible for planning and coordinating staff rosters, staffing levels, and scheduling to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will conduct regular checks on special assignments, nurses' documentation, pending orders, and monitor adherence to dress code and overall nursing standards.
  • They will maintain accurate records of unit par levels (medical & surgical) and crash cart supplies.
  • Additionally, they will organize clinical rounds in the unit and conduct thorough environment checks to ensure patient safety.
  • The Nursing Unit Leader will also monitor attendance and punctuality of all nurses posted in the ward and report any issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Management of inventory and procurement of ward supplies and medications is also an essential part of this role.
  • Furthermore, the successful candidate will compile and submit daily patient census reports, highlighting critically ill patients to the relevant authorities.
  • Implementing and enforcing healthcare quality and patient safety protocols as per organizational policies and procedures is also a critical aspect of this position.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Generic BSN with 4-5 years of experience in leading healthcare organizations is required.
