Pharmacy Services Manager

As a highly skilled pharmacy professional, you will have the opportunity to manage pharmacy services, implement policies and procedures, and provide frontline team management and coaching to all pharmacy staff. Your responsibilities will include maintaining basic job needs like interpretation of physician orders, intervention, compounding, dispensing, patient education, controlled drugs management and handling, and inventory management of pharmaceutical supplies.
You will be responsible for precepting and coordinating the training of pharmacy students, serving as a role model to trainee pharmacists. Additionally, you will maintain a collegial relationship with inter and intra departmental teams and focus on improving the image and performance of the department.
In this role, you will also be responsible for managing acute shortage shifts, providing assistance and oversight to staff, and participating in clinical research-related activities and publications. Furthermore, you will assist in implementing optimal drug therapy plans, guidelines, and protocols; identify, resolve, and prevent potential and actual drug-related problems by obtaining and evaluating medical literature, patient profiles, laboratory data, and reviewing drug use trends, adverse drug reaction reports, guidelines adherence, etc.
