Network Engineer Role

The role of the Associate Network Engineer is to work full-time across Pakistan to support and assist in the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects. This involves supporting current needs and future expansion plans, including the integration of CISCO, Juniper, and other products for clients across Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in deployments across Pakistan.
  2. Handle technical cases related to CISCO and Juniper products.
  3. Collaborate with the enterprise-level architecture team to implement network configurations such as subnetting, VLAN setup, VOIP telephony, VPN tunneling, and wireless LAN at various locations.
  4. Design, integrate, optimize, and migrate networks.
  5. Provide engineering support for troubleshooting issues.
  6. Work with team members to resolve customer satisfaction issues related to integration.
  7. Maintain and administer corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, and email services.

This role requires strong communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and a collaborative mindset to work with end-users and team members.

RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with routing protocols and switching technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of network design, architecture, protocols, and topology.
  • Ability to work effectively with end-users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
Education, Experience, Certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Certifications: JNCIS, JNCIA-IDP, IUWVNCCNP, CCNA.
Competencies

Demonstrated knowledge in Routing & Switching, VOIP, Security; highly organized and motivated; strong customer orientation; excellent communication and presentation skills.
