Lead Editor Instructor

We are seeking a seasoned Editing Instructor to lead our faculty and teach editing courses. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in film or a related field, at least five years of professional experience, and extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Dean of the school to develop curricula tailored to each class.
  • Engage students in the learning process effectively.
  • Cultivate a nurturing atmosphere for students to excel and motivate them to produce their best work.
  • Execute all teaching responsibilities promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in bi-monthly faculty meetings.
  • Coordinate with school administration on matters related to student attendance and grading.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants.
  • Conduct individual meetings with students to provide personalized guidance.
  • Create and refine course syllabi to meet student needs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in the film industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in film or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere (Adobe Certified Instructor preferred).
  • Experience working with both HD and 4K footage and professional workflows.
  • Extensive knowledge of editing craft.
