About the Role:

Job Title: Research Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist in managing the circulation desk.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Processing: Assist in processing books and other library materials, including creating metadata for newly acquired items.
  • Purchase Orders: Prepare, route, and collect purchase orders for library materials.
  • Circulation Duties: Perform circulation tasks on regular days and weekends, working various shifts.
  • Research Assistance: Browse websites and online stores to verify book availability, and assist patrons in finding library materials.
  • Shelf Reading: Conduct daily shelf reading of designated areas.
  • Document Scanning: Scan documents as needed and add content to the Institutional Repository.

Requirements:

  • Fresh graduates welcome.
  • Desirable: 2 years of relevant experience.
