Job Description
  • Knowledge of trade terms and conditions, including purchase and sale invoices, delivery challans, stock transfers and goods receipt notes.
  • Familiarity with commercial trade transactions and payment procedures, including booking of purchases, sales and transfers in the system.
  • Awareness of sales tax and transport documentation procedures, such as road transport permits, carrier responsibilities and dispatch documentation.
  • Book closing procedures, including monthly stock reconciliations, physical verification reports and preparation of monthly stock reports.
  • Maintaining inventory files and updating them daily.
  • Checking vendors' bills against work orders and verifying their correctness and authenticity.
  • Proper filing and maintenance of documents for future reference and audits.
  • Escalating matters to higher levels when necessary.
Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain or Accounting and Finance.
  • 3-6 years' experience in container execution.
