Job Summary
We are looking for a Commercial Development Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving business growth through lead generation, client acquisition, and partnership development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate new leads and acquire clients on Upwork.
- Create Customized Proposals: Create customized proposals and pitch decks tailored to client needs, highlighting your expertise and the value you can bring to their business.
- Build Strong Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, delivering exceptional service and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Closing Deals: Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet both parties' needs.
- Optimize Profiles: Optimize your Upwork profile for better visibility and client engagement, showcasing your skills, experience, and achievements.
- Conduct Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, competitors, and best practices in the industry, informing your sales strategies and approaches.
- Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery, effective communication, and seamless workflow.
- Report Performance: Report on sales activities and performance to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Leverage Sales Skills: Leverage your sales skills, experience, and knowledge to drive business growth, meet targets, and exceed expectations.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: 2+ years of business development experience, with a focus on Upwork and account management.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Upwork's platform, bid management, and profile optimization; proven ability to negotiate and close deals; strong communication, written and verbal, with persuasive proposal writing skills; sales-driven with a proven track record of meeting targets.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions; strong time management and organizational skills; passion for business growth and development.
