We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of our complex backend systems.

About the Role
  • This position involves envisioning and implementing high-availability, high-throughput systems, architecting user flows, and working with cloud-native technologies.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, including Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver impactful products.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and resolving performance and scalability issues, planning and coordinating data modelling and feature releases.

About You

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing high-availability backend systems is required.
  • Architecting and implementing complex user flows on web applications is crucial.
  • Deep expertise in at least one major web framework such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, aioHTTP, or Pyramid is necessary.
  • A growth mindset, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to balance long-term engineering objectives with immediate development needs are vital.
