Job Title: Senior Business Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Solutions Specialist with extensive experience in implementing and optimizing financial and supply chain modules within enterprise resource planning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain the overall functional architecture and configuration standards for finance and supply chain solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective system implementations.
  • Configure and implement modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets, inventory management, procurement, sales, warehouse management, and transportation management.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
  • Lead workshops, gather requirements, and document functional specifications.
  • Oversee data migration, testing, and user training activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise during project delivery and post-implementation support.
  • Mentor and guide junior specialists and business users.
  • Evaluate and introduce new features, best practices, and process improvements as needed.
  • Champion process standardization, compliance, and clean configuration practices.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of general ledger principles, including chart of accounts, financial dimensions, and fiscal calendars.
  • Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes, including vendor setup, invoice processing, payment journals, and vendor settlements.
  • Proficiency in accounts receivable processes, including customer invoicing, collections, and payment matching.
  • Experience with cash management, including bank reconciliation, cash flow forecasting, and fund transfers.
  • Experience with budgeting, including configuring and managing budgets, forecasting, and control features.
  • Understanding of inventory valuation principles, including financial impact of inventory movements and stock valuation.
  • Knowledge of fixed assets, including asset creation, depreciation methods, and disposal processes.
  • Expertise in implementing and optimizing core supply chain modules, including inventory management, procurement, sales, warehouse management, and transportation management.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of cost management principles, including costing methods, cost allocation, and freight cost tracking.
  • Ability to configure and manage revenue recognition for logistics contracts.
  • Experience with project accounting, including managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and revenue recognition for logistics projects.
  • Familiarity with transportation and freight costs, including handling financial implications of shipping, transportation, and carrier contracts.
  • Exposure to reporting tools and integrations within the enterprise resource planning ecosystem.
Additional Requirements:
  • Certification MB-310 is a plus.
  • Strong documentation, training, and stakeholder management abilities.
