Accounting Associate

This position involves performing various accounting tasks, including general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, billing, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Tasks: Ensure proper payment of vendors is done accurately and promptly.
  • Accounts Receivable and Billing Functions: Perform these tasks to maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments.
  • Bank and Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to internal and external customers, vendors, and coworkers.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.
  • Two to three years of bookkeeping experience is essential, along with two to three years of customer service experience.
  • Prior experience in telecommunications accounting is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, especially Innovative, is desired.
  • Excellent data entry skills and strong analytical skills are necessary for this role.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is crucial.

This position requires being physically present in an office and reports to the Accounting Manager.
