Job Title: Senior Manager/Manager

Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to contribute significantly to the financial success of our clients by working closely with senior team members to maintain and develop all aspects of their financial accounting processes and related controls.

This position requires a high level of expertise in financial management, including but not limited to:

  • Supporting senior management with multiple financial mandates.
  • Acting as the direct point of contact with CEO clients regarding their financials.
  • Designated finance officer with DIFC/ADGM.
  • Leading the Internal Audit Team in Pakistan.
  • Ensuring data integrity and entering data into client accounting systems.
  • Accruals and provisions, monthly book closing.
  • Providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Preparing client periodic trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement.
  • Preparation and processing of Financial Reports and Financial Statements.
  • Preparation of regulatory returns and timely submission.
  • Assisting clients to meet external and internal auditor's needs including ledgers, reports, and schedules.
  • Reviewing and reconciling all bank statements for clients.
  • Assisting with other assigned duties including accounting, internal audit client, or administration roles.
  • Planning, coordinating, reviewing, and validating documentation with utmost attention to detail.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10-12 plus years of experience preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Big Four experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with IFRS accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of sales tax/VAT.
  • Strong experience working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, etc. is beneficial.
Qualifications

Candidates must hold the following qualifications:

  • ACCA/CIMA/CA/CFA qualification is required.
  • Master's degree from a leading university with focus on finance & accounting is advantageous.
