Synchronous Services is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless payroll management and compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Holiday Calculations: Manage entitlements, zero-hour contracts, new starters, leavers, and holiday pay.
- Absence Management: Handle deductions and payments for absences.
- Statutory Leave and Payments: Calculate maternity, paternity, adoption leave, and statutory sick pay (SSP).
- Payroll Processing: Run payroll, and create payslips, P45s, P60s, and P11Ds.
- Timesheet Management: Oversee overtime and zero-hour contract payrolls.
- Compensation Management: Administer bonuses, commissions, and other payouts.
- Deductions: Process gross and net deductions for items such as parking fines, Ride2work schemes, and advances.
- Pension Administration: Manage auto-enrollment, pension holidays, and compliance.
- Final Calculations: Handle final salary and redundancy payments.
- Tax Compliance: Update tax codes and incorporate HMRC amendments.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Utilize advanced functions for payroll data management and analysis.
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll regulations and compliance.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- High proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
