Production Operations Manager

\

We are seeking a skilled Production Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in production environments, sound knowledge of production techniques, and a keen ability to manage resources and timelines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.\
  • Implement and monitor production plans based on targets, resource availability, and customer demands.\
  • Collaborate with planning and maintenance teams to align on schedules and reduce downtime.\
  • Manage workforce allocation, shift planning, and ensure effective labor utilization.\
  • Analyze production metrics (output, rejection rates, efficiency) and initiate corrective actions as needed.\
  • Enforce safety protocols and best practices within the work area.\
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in lean/kaizen activities.\
  • Maintain production documentation, logs, and reports for operational transparency and audits.\
  • Coordinate with the quality and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability and quality compliance.\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.\
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in production operations, preferably in the wood, furniture, or related manufacturing industry.\
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, board material handling, and production planning.\
  • Proven ability in labor supervision, manpower planning, and conflict resolution.\
  • Working knowledge of production-related software or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).\
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.\
  • Good interpersonal and communication abilities.\
  • Willingness to work in shifts and high-paced factory environments.\
