Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Professional to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Public Policy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our flagship school focused on policy innovation, governance, and cultivating next generations of leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in public policy, including policy analysis, governance, and leadership.
  • To conduct research in policy fields such as governance, development, security, health, climate, education, or economic policy.
  • To publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
  • To collaborate with faculty members from various disciplines to develop curricula and programs that integrate theory and practice.
  • To mentor students and provide academic guidance.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A PhD in a relevant social science discipline (Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Economics, Development Studies, IR, Strategic Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies) from a reputable institute.
  • At least 5 years of academic/research experience, in accordance with HEC criteria.
  • Research focus aligned with policy fields such as governance, development, security, health, climate, education, or economic policy.
  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferred.
  • Experience in curriculum development, and evidence of effective teaching and student mentorship.
