Peer Reviewer for Academic Journals

Academic publishers and journals are seeking experienced researchers to conduct peer reviews of manuscripts.

This is a part-time opportunity that allows for remote work, offering the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively.

Requirements
  • A Doctorate degree or equivalent advanced qualification in the relevant subject area
  • Prior publication experience in reputable SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals within the last ten years
  • Published at least 12 papers in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals in the past decade
  • Thorough understanding of research methodologies and principles within the discipline
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity
  • Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems
Duties
  • Evaluate the originality of the manuscript
  • Assess the study design and methodology
  • Ensure the manuscript incorporates and cites relevant literature in the field
  • Analyse results and conclusions: determine whether results are presented clearly and appropriately
  • Provide constructive feedback: suggest improvements and highlight any flaws or omissions
  • Recommend publication: based on your evaluation, the journal editor will decide whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected
