Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Junior Account Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transaction Management: Process financial transactions, manage receipts, and handle payment processing in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile daily transactions and bank statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Closing Processes: Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare income tax challans for salary, vendors, suppliers, etc., and ensure all tax-related documents and records are organized and stored securely.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide financial and accounting details on specific funds along with their aging, and perform financial reporting and necessary reconciliation tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting Software: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure all financial transactions and reports are accurate and compliant.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.com): Candidate should have a Bachelor of Commerce degree from a recognized institution.
  • Working Experience: 1-2 years of working experience in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
