About the Role

  • Design engaging interfaces using Figma, focusing on user-centric principles.

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain design systems and ensure consistency across platforms and products.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves working closely with product teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet business objectives.


  • Refine designs based on feedback from product owners and stakeholders.
  • Jump on quick calls to collaborate with developers and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Research competitors or user patterns for an upcoming feature.
  • Create clickable prototypes for testing new feature concepts.
  • Organize design files and document updates at the end of each day.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:


  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking and execution.
  • Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Solid understanding of user-centred design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex ideas into clear and intuitive interfaces.
  • Strong command of Figma and other relevant design tools.

A Typical Day

You'll start your day by aligning with the product team on sprint priorities. The rest of your time will be spent refining designs, collaborating with developers, researching competitors, creating prototypes, and organizing your work.
