Energy Solutions Manager

This role is pivotal in driving company strategy, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering high-impact energy solutions across demand-side efficiency, renewable energy, and microgrids.

About the Role

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers and consultants across various projects.
  • Oversee project execution from planning to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and KPIs are met.
  • Identify project-specific and long-term resource needs and drive recruitment efforts, onboarding, and team structuring.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence in all technical deliverables, including energy audit reports, engineering design packages, and financial analysis reports.

Key Responsibilities

As the Energy Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for both strategic leadership and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:

  • Team & Project Leadership
    • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of engineers and consultants.
    • Oversee project execution from planning to delivery.
    • Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Resource Planning & Development
    • Identify project-specific and long-term resource needs.
    • Drive recruitment efforts, onboarding, and team structuring.
    • Develop and implement continuous training plans tailored to technical and soft skill development.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence in all technical deliverables.
    • Establish internal quality review mechanisms for documentation and project outputs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Lead high-level interactions with client senior management and C-suite executives.
    • Present findings, strategies, and project progress with confidence and clarity.
  • Strategic Involvement
    • Actively participate in shaping the company's strategy and direction.
    • Collaborate with other department heads to align technical excellence with business development, innovation, and growth.

Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems, Energy Management, or Clean Energy.
  • Certifications (Preferred)
    • Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), LEED AP, PMP, or similar.
    • Certifications in Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, or Green Building.
  • Experience
    • 8+ years of progressive experience in energy consulting or engineering.
    • Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
    • Prior experience in client-facing roles, ideally with exposure to C&I sector stakeholders.
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of power systems, energy audits, solar PV design, hybrid systems, and grid-interfacing solutions.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high autonomy.
