System Administrators are crucial in maintaining and ensuring the optimal performance of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • We seek a skilled individual to install and configure software applications, guaranteeing seamless system performance.
  • As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for troubleshooting network systems, databases, and patch management to prevent downtime and security breaches.
  • Develop and implement strategies for system security, data backup and recovery, and access controls to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Familiarize yourself with various operating systems and platforms to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and problem-solving skills to address technical issues efficiently.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration or related roles is required.
  • Proven expertise in administering Linux/CentOS servers is essential.
  • Familiarity with traditional web technologies and database systems is necessary.
  • Optional: proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or other programming languages is advantageous.

This is a challenging role that requires an independent individual who can work effectively with a distributed team, communicate clearly, and develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.

Core hours are from Monday to Friday, US Pacific Time, with flexibility to work beyond core hours when needed. As we operate in the infrastructure business, it's essential to be available on call at times.
