Department Operations Manager Job

The Department Operations Manager is a process-driven individual with a service mindset who can effectively bridge teams and function as a well-engaged department, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and handle a team of 50 to 60 people efficiently.
  2. Execute department operations within given resources, including leave and shift management.
  3. Enable team members for effective execution according to their roles and responsibilities.
  4. Establish and monitor customer service standards using recognized benchmarks.
  5. Conduct progress and development meetings with staff regularly.
  6. Follow up on ongoing projects to ensure timely completion and meet business goals.
  7. Develop a performance-driven team capable of achieving assigned targets and driving business growth.
  8. Create a professional work environment that promotes equality and fairness, maintaining a healthy work-life balance for all employees.
  9. Implement company policies and procedures consistently.
  10. Regularly review KPIs, perform performance analysis, and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Identify training needs and develop staff for next-level roles and career advancement.
  12. Focus on operational improvements and business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. A graduate degree, preferably in Business Administration or Management.
  2. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to lead by example.

  • Time-driven, soft-spoken, dedicated, quick learner, team player, and solution-oriented.

Experience Required:

  1. Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in managing different teams and departments.
  2. Experience in customer support, call center operations, business development, recruitment, and project management.
