Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust security protocols to safeguard company data, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations to identify potential threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, providing timely notification to stakeholders and effective containment and eradication of threats.
  • Manage and maintain advanced security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and awareness, promoting a culture of cybersecurity throughout the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, leveraging knowledge of advanced technologies and techniques to inform security strategy.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of business continuity plans to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Conduct thorough security audits and assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with advanced security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDPS, SIEM).
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
