Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent from a recognized university is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field is also necessary. PEC registration is mandatory for this position.

The role of the Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer is crucial in ensuring seamless integration of electrical and instrumentation aspects within mechanical projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in feasibility assessments for E&I aspects of projects, working closely with seniors to produce comprehensive feasibility reports.
  • Conduct material inspections for E&I components, providing recommendations and highlighting non-conformances based on quality assurance protocols.
  • Support monitoring of E&I project execution at construction sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications, relevant codes, and industry standards.
  • Verify project schedules and timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines and identifying potential areas of concern.
  • Engage with vendors to select reliable and cost-effective electrical and instrumentation components and services.
  • Contribute to the installation, construction, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation elements, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of electrical and instrumentation engineering principles, practices, and industry standards within the gas or energy sector.
  • Ensure that E&I components adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Integrate electrical and instrumentation components into mechanical projects, ensuring holistic project functionality.
  • Review engineering designs, providing technical inputs for optimal E&I project specifications.
  • Identify, report, record, and manage key risks associated with E&I aspects of projects in a timely manner.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training initiatives to stay updated on advancements in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
  • Comply with the risk management framework and participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
